Phone Channel is the French component of a first-person interactive training video for TD’s prospective phone channel employees. I designed (based on some visual examples) the POV rig out of a motorcycle helmet. An A7sII was mounted from the chin area, a cine-arm came from the forehead and hung a monitor in front of the eyes so the operator / actor was able to see what’s being captured, something that’s integral to shooting first-person. The monitor converted the HDMI to SDI, BNC travelled over the shoulder to a backpack housing a Teradek 600 transmitter, and power. Lit on the go with 1×1 LEDgo panels and Kino Flo’s.
